First, thank you to everyone that has joined our PTA. We are inching closer to our goal of 530 members. If you haven't had the opportunity to join, please do so. Your support is what helps make our school shine.
I am proud to announce the first assembly of the year, The Bully Game. This will take place on Tuesday the 18th. It is a game show style assembly that discusses bullying. Please ask your student about it and see what they say. We would love to get any feedback on this.
Our next event is Walk/Bike to School Day on Wednesday, October 3rd. Please look for further details in this Wednesday's Madera Messenger.
It's Reflections time at Madera. Any student wishing to compete in this statewide event, please go to the Madera website and look under community flyers for all the details. Information packets will be available in the office soon.
Spirit Wear orders are done for now. We will no longer be accepting orders until the spring. Those that did order should receive them within the next week or two.
Finally, our main event is rapidly approaching, our Harvest Festival & Silent Auction. Our planning committee is working hard to ensure that this is the biggest and best festival ever. Your class room parents and art docents will be contacting you shortly with requests for help and donations. Please look for those letters in your children's' backpacks.
So as you can see, we are busy busy busy! If you have any questions, thoughts or concerns, please let me know. I am always available. I sincerely wish to thank each of you for your time and support of our children and our school. Your efforts truly make the difference.
